Revised Draft script for the 1998 film, copy belonging to Master Lead Painter Charlie Palazzo, with the annotations in manuscript ink of "Charli P. / Print Dept." and copy number "301" on the front wrapper. "Blue Rev.1" script on blue paper, dated 12/11/96, with copy number "707" in manuscript ink on the top right corner of the title page.

Based on the Marvel Comics character created by Marv Wolfman and Gene Colan. Followed by two sequels "Blade II" (2002), directed by Guillermo del Toro, and "Blade: Trinity" (2004) directed by screenwriter David S. Goyer, all starring Wesley Snipes. Snipes stars as the Dhampir Blade, a half-man, half-vampire protecting the human race from evil vampires.

The beginning of Marvel Comic's success in film adaptations, which still continues, unabatedly, two and a half decades later.

Set in and shot on location in Long Beach, Death Valley, and Los Angeles, California, and London, Moscow, and Vancouver.
