Snipes stars as the Dhampir Blade, a half-man, half-vampire protecting the human race from evil vampires.

The beginning of Marvel Comic's success in film adaptations, which still continues, unabatedly, two and a half decades later.

Set in and shot on location in Long Beach, Death Valley, and Los Angeles, California, and London, Moscow, and Vancouver.
