Based on the 1947 novel "Tauerngold" by Irmgard Wurmbrand. A young teacher is sexually assaulted by a wealthy sawmill owner, and later learns that she is pregnant. In order to save her from shame, her assaulter's brother agrees to marry her, and romance blossoms between the two.
