Four vintage photographs of Lou Reed in performance, circa 1973-1976, including one photograph of Reed performing in heavy glitter makeup at the Crystal Palace in London in September, 1973, on the "Rock and Roll Animal" tour. Photographs with photographer stamps on the versos, variously crediting Simon Fowler, Chris Walter, Elaine Bryant, and Michael Putland.

After leaving the Velvet Underground, Reed released his first commercial breakthrough album, "Transformer," in 1972, followed by "Berlin" in July, 1973.
