The Dutch Treat Club was a social club originating among the regular contributors to "Life" magazine in 1905. Every Tuesday morning illustrators and writers would head to "Life"'s headquarters in Manhattan to await review of their submissions by editors J.A. Mitchell and Thomas Masson. A number of contributors began lunching together while in the city, eventually organizing themselves officially as the Dutch Treat Club. In addition to Street and Irwin, the group's cofounders included James Montgomery Flagg, Rupert Hughes, Ellis Parker Butler, Frank Ward O'Malley, Will Irwin, and George Barry Mallon.

Very Good plus in illustrated boards, with no dust jacket as issued. Corners lightly rubbed, with a small bruise on the top portion of the front board.
