N.p. N.p., 1953. Vintage typed letter signed from mystery and crime writer Philip MacDonald to fellow Mystery Writers of America member and vice-president Will Oursler. Letter on MacDonald's personal letterhead, dated April 10, 1953.

A brief but effusive letter, in which MacDonald thanks Oursler for a previous letter, and expresses surprise and happiness at receiving an Edgar Award for his 1952 short story collection "Something to Hide." MacDonald also delegates Isabelle Taylor to receive the award in his stead if he is unable to attend the ceremony.
