Luigi of Catanzaro

London: Privately printed, 1926. Limited Edition, one of 100 hand-numbered copies (this being No. 46) SIGNED by the author.

A Queen's Quorum title, initially intended for inclusion in "The Doomington Wanderer" in 1934, but ultimately suppressed before the collection's release. As with much of Louis Golding's work, the story deals with themes of Judaism and integration into British society, following a heavenly dispute about the canonization of a saint who is discovered to have Jewish ancestry.

Very Good, with moderate foxing and light soil on the wrappers.

Queen's Quorum 73.
