Based on Shelley Smith's 1961 novel "The Ballad of the Running Man." Laurence Harvey stars as a man who fakes his own death in the hopes of gaining a substantial insurance payout, but encounters trouble in the form of the company's nosy claim investigator, played by Alan Bates.
Shot on location in Cadiz, Spain, in Gibraltar, and in Ireland.
