Often considered one of director Kenji Mizoguchi's masterworks, an elegant and contemplative film about the wife and children of an exiled local governor as they are separated and forced into servitude. Winner of the Silver Lion award at the 1954 Venice Film Festival.
White perfect-bound wrappers with navy blue titles. Approximately 47 leaves, with last page of text numbered B-41. Mimeograph duplication, printed on rectos and versos. Very Good, with age toning, foxing, and faint soil on the wrappers.
