Paris: Gallimard, 1953. First French Edition (and correct first). Basis for the classic 1955 French heist film "Rififi," one of the classics of French film noir, directed by Jules Dassin.

Very Good plus in a Very Good dust jacket. Front and rear hinges splitting, with light foxing on the top page edges. Jacket has small touch-up in black marker on the front panel verso, small closed tears on the bottom edge of the front panel, and a lightly rubbed rear panel.
