While transporting $1000 in securities, a bank clerk from Milwaukee falls for a blonde seductress, who proceeds to rob him of his valuables, ruining his life. Winner of the first Academy Award for Best Actor for Jannings, for his performances in both "The Way of All Flesh" and "The Last Command." Currently considered lost.
