Born Nancy Paine Stoll, Mink Stole has appeared in nearly 50 films between 1966 and 2013, and is best known for her work in the films of Baltimore auteur John Waters. Stole is one of only three "Dreamlanders" (Waters' ensemble of regular cast and crew) who has appeared in all of Waters' feature films to date.

Stole began established an online presence in 1998 to promote her writing, merchandising, performances, and film work.
