N.p. N.p., Circa 1931. Two vintage reference photographs from the 1931 film, one showing a camera crew on a raised platform, capturing a scene with actors Greta Garbo and Robert Montgomery, and the other showing Garbo and Montgomery during the scene itself.

Loosely based on Alphonse Daudet's 1884 novel "Sappho." A free-spirited artist's model falls in love with a student, deciding to give up the comforts of her life as a kept woman in exchange for his love.

Set in Paris.
