N.p. N.p., 1953-1954. Six vintage press photographs relating to the British royal family's tour of New Zealand from 1953-1954. Featured in the photographs are Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Phillip, and Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother.

Three photographs bear stamps on the verso from the New Zealand Herald, one photograph bears a stamp from The Dominion, and one photograph bears a stamp from the Evening Post dated December 1954. Five photographs also bear stamps on the verso identifying locations and subjects of the photos, with one dated December 1953 and one dated 1954.

The tour followed Queen Elizabeth II's accession to the throne in 1952, and took place from December of 1953 to January of 1954, with visits to Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch (among others). It was the first time a reigning monarch visited New Zealand.

Four photographs 6.25 x 8.25 inches, two photographs 8 x 10 inches. Generally about Near Fine, two photographs with light creasing at the corners.
