A classic in the gangster genre, following the experiences of three men through the tumultuous 1920s, starting in the final days of World War I. The third and last film to co-star Humphrey Bogart and James Cagney, following "Angels with Dirty Faces" (1938) and "The Oklahoma Kid" (1939).
