Original photograph album compiled by a young woman from Arkansas

N.p. N.p., Circa 1920s. Vintage vernacular photograph album compiled by a Myrtle McKnight of Arkansas, circa 1920s. Album holds 115 black-and-white snapshots, with three additional prints laid in, with captions in manuscript ink on the balance of the pages.

A small printed label affixed to the verso of the front board notes McKnight's name and a location in Pine Bluff, although images in the album appear to predominantly capture locations in and around Shirley, a small town in Van Buren County. Represented in the photographs are day trips into nature and Christmas holiday festivities, although the balance are portraits of friends and family members.

Album measures 8.25 x 5.5 inches, with photographs ranging in size from 1 x 1 inch to 4 x 6 inches. Very Good plus, with photographs lightly age toned and album pages lightly edgeworn and faded.
