A one-season drama follows the first female President of the United States dealing with the complicated political landscape of the mid 1980s as well as issues in her personal life. In this episode, an Air Force general threatens to launch nuclear missiles on the USSR, while the President's husband reveals past affairs.

Set in Washington, DC.
