Originally released in France in 1963 as "La prostitution," directed by Maurice Boutel, the film was released in the US in 1967 as "To Be a Woman," with portions removed and sex scenes (shot in the US) added by exploitation director Harvey Cort.
A young girl from the provinces moves to Paris and finds herself trapped in the world of prostitution.
