Dilbert: Elbonian Trip

Culver City, CA: Appleton Productions, 1998. Archive of four scripts for Season 1 Episode 5 of the 1999-2000 primetime animated television series, which aired on the United Paramount Network on March 1, 1999.

The archive includes one Draft script dated June 8, 1998, with copious manuscript ink annotations throughout, one Table Read Draft script dated June 12, 1998 with copious pencil annotations throughout, one Record Draft script dated June 16, 1998 with copied manuscript annotations throughout, and one incomplete Record Draft script dated June 17, 1998.

Based on the successful 1989-2023 comic strip by Scott Adams, about the titular pessimistic white-collar engineer and his daily interactions with his idiotic boss and frustrated coworkers. In this episode, Dilbert and his coworkers visit a manufacturing facility in the underdeveloped Eastern European country of Elbonia.
