Julius and Ethel Rosenberg were convicted of espionage on March 29, 1951, and executed on June 19, 1953, despite widespread protests for clemency in the US and abroad.

From the archive of the PIX Agency, an American photo house that acted as an intermediary between emigre photographers (as well as those still living in Europe) and the American magazine and newspaper market between 1935-1969.

7 x 9 inches, archivally mounted in a white mat measuring 14 x 18 inches. Good, with moderate creasing on the edges, and top and bottom edges wavy.
