Lawrence Julian Schiller is an award winning photographer, film producer, director, screenwriter, and bestselling author, who has worked in film and television since the 1960s.

Based on the 1968 novel by Richard Hooker, and, in turn, the basis of the acclaimed television show which ran for 11 seasons on CBS (from 1972 to 1983). A film that kick-started a great decade of cinema, and one that still defines it.

Winner of the Academy Award for Best Screenplay, nominated for four more, including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Supporting Actress. Winner of the Palme d'Or.

11 x14 inches with irregular margins, archivally matted in a 16 x 20 inch 8-ply mat. Near Fine, with a small emulsion blemish to the far right side (obscured by the matting).

From the archive of the PIX Agency, an American photo house that acted as an intermediary between emigre photographers (as well as those still living in Europe) and the American magazine and newspaper market between 1935-1969.
