N.p. N.p., Circa 1969. Vintage oversize satin finish portrait photograph of actor Donald Sutherland in a leather jacket, taken during production of the 1970 film "Kelley's Heroes," in 1969. Stamp of noted photographer Lawrence Schiller on the verso.

Sutherland contracted a life-threatening case of spinal meningitis during production, which took place in Yugoslavia, but managed to make a full recovery.

From the archive of the PIX Agency, an American photo house that acted as an intermediary between emigre photographers (as well as those still living in Europe) and the American magazine and newspaper market between 1935-1969.

11 x 14 inches, archivally matted in a 16 x 20 inch 8-ply mat. Near Fine, with a hint of creasing at the corners.
