Vintage borderless satin finish photograph of actress Diana Rigg being held aloft by British weightlifter George Manners, taken during "Dressed to Kill," a 1965 charity fashion show inspired by "The Avengers." Mimeo snipe on the verso, along with the printed label of PIX agency and the stamp of St. Cross Features.

The fashion show featured creations by noted English fashion designer Jean Varon. Varon's designs for Rigg's character in "The Avengers," Emma Peel, were particularly influential on the mod craze of the decade.

From the archive of the PIX Agency, an American photo house that acted as an intermediary between emigre photographers (as well as those still living in Europe) and the American magazine and newspaper market between 1935-1969.
