N.p. N.p., Circa 1966. Vintage oversize borderless photograph of performance artist and cellist Charlotte Moorman setting up for a performance during the Fourth Annual Avant Garde Festival of New York, held in Central Park on September 9, 1966.

Moorman, who founded the festival in 1963, performed a section of Wolf Vostell's "Morning Glory," which included feeding pieces of "The New York Times" into a running blender.

From the archive of the PIX Agency, an American photo house that acted as an intermediary between emigre photographers (as well as those still living in Europe) and the American magazine and newspaper market between 1935-1969.
