In San Diego in the 1970s, successful news anchor Ron Burgundy is forced to confront his prejudices when the station owners hire a woman anchor, who promptly proceeds to climb her way to the top. Followed by a 2013 sequel, "Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues."

Shot on location in San Diego, Los Angeles, Glendale, and Long Beach.
