Gunrunner Caine (Burt Reynolds), stranded in a small coastal Sudanese town, is enlisted by the attractive Anna (Silvia Pinal) and her alcoholic partner Doc (Arthur Kennedy) to dive into shark infested waters for a purported scientific expedition, but is actually for sunken treasure.

Set in the Sudan on the Red Sea, shot on location in Manzanillo, Mexico.
