The long-running neo-Western series follows the trials and tribulations of the family-owned Yellowstone Dutton Ranch, the largest cattle ranch in Montana. In the pilot episode, the family's patriarch euthanizes an injured horse, and attempts to protect his land from predatory developers. The episode originally aired on June 20, 2018, on Paramount Network.
Chris Scher has worked in American films from 1994 to the present. She was a propmaker, construction accountant/estimator/buyer, and carpenter on over 20 movies, including "The Last Seduction" (1994), "Pulp Fiction" (1994), "From Dusk Till Dawn" (1994), "The Horse Whisperer (1998), "Joy Ride" (2001), and others. She also performed the same work for prestige television dramas, including "The Bridge" (2014), "Ozark" (2017), and "Yellowstone" (2018).
Set in Montana, and shot on location in Darby and Helena, Montana, and in Park City, Woodland, and Springville, Utah.
