Based on the 1984 novel by Olive Hershey. After discovering her husband's infidelity, a 45-year-old housewife decides to hit the road as a trucker, taking on a job transporting illegal immigrants over the Texas border.

Chris Scher has worked in American films from 1994 to the present. She was a propmaker, construction accountant/estimator/buyer, and carpenter on over 20 movies, including "The Last Seduction" (1994), "Pulp Fiction" (1994), "From Dusk Till Dawn" (1994), "The Horse Whisperer (1998), "Joy Ride" (2001), and others. She also performed the same work for prestige television dramas, including "The Bridge" (2014), "Ozark" (2017), and "Yellowstone" (2018).

Self wrappers. Title page present, on Fostoria Film letterhead, dated April, 1992, with credits for Hershey and screenwriter Bruce Hansen on the front wrapper. 122 leaves, with last page of text numbered 121. Xerographic duplication, rectos only. Pages Very Good plus, slightly creased on the top left corner of the last ten leaves, bound with three gold brads.
