Stamp of photographer Michel Ciment on the versos, along with layout annotations in manuscript ink and pencil.

A surrealist adventure about two French vagrants traveling along the Way of St. James, a pilgrimage route from northern Europe to Santiago de Compostela in Galicia, Spain. Buñuel would later name the film as the first part of a trilogy about "the search for truth," followed by "The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie" (1972) and "The Phantom of Liberty" (1974).
