From the archive of noted Hollywood still photographer Ray Jones. Born in Wisconsin on January 1, 1901, Jones worked for Paramount Pictures in the early 1930s, and went on to be the head of the still photography department at Universal Pictures in 1935, where he worked well into the 1950s.

Not to be confused with the acclaimed turn-of-the-twentieth century stage actress and vocalist of the same name.

Irene Bentley starred in six films between 1933 and 1935, four of which were for Fox Films, including "Frontier Marshal" and "David Harum." Bentley walked away from Hollywood and disappeared after her short-lived career, and was the one of the subjects of the 1976 book "Ginger, Loretta, and Irene Who?," by George Eells.
