From the archive of noted Hollywood still photographer Ray Jones. Born in Wisconsin on January 1, 1901, Jones worked for Paramount Pictures in the early 1930s, and went on to be the head of the still photography department at Universal Pictures in 1935, where he worked well into the 1950s.

Vaudevillian, stage, screen, and television actor William Frawley is best known for his performance as half of the neighboring couple and landlords, "Fred and Ethel," on the long-running beloved television series "I Love Lucy." Frawley first garnered national attention with his Vaudeville act "Frawley and Louise," which he performed with his then-wife, Edna Louise Broedt, from 1914 till their divorce in 1927. Frawley performed on Broadway multiple times and appeared in over 100 films between 1916 and 1962. After "I Love Lucy" ended in 1960 Frawley appeared as grandfather "Bub" O'Casey on the popular television show "My Three Sons" from 1960 till 1965.
