Born in Los Angeles, Kathleen Hughes was discovered by Twentieth Century-Fox executives in 1948. She was signed to a seven-year contract shortly thereafter, and made 14 films with the studio. She also made seven films with Universal Studios, including the science fiction film "It Came From Outer Space" (1953). She is perhaps best remembered today for her late-career performance in the 1990 crime drama "Revenge."
From the archive of noted Hollywood still photographer Ray Jones. Born in Wisconsin on January 1, 1901, Jones worked for Paramount Pictures in the early 1930s, and went on to be the head of the still photography department at Universal Pictures in 1935, where he worked well into the 1950s.
