From the archive of noted Hollywood still photographer Ray Jones. Born in Wisconsin on January 1, 1901, Jones worked for Paramount Pictures in the early 1930s, and went on to be the head of the still photography department at Universal Pictures in 1935, where he worked well into the 1950s.

Margaret Lindsay appeared in over 90 films from 1930 to 1963, and is perhaps best remembered for her performance as Hepzibah Pyncheon in the 1940 film "The House of the Seven Gables." A popular supporting actress during the 1930s and 1940s, she appeared in the 1938 films "Baby Face" and "Jezebel," and the 1945 film "Scarlet Street." She is also remembered as Nikki Porter, the lead in the Columbia Picture's seven-film "Ellery Queen" series from 1940 to 1942.
