From the archive of noted Hollywood still photographer Ray Jones. Born in Wisconsin on January 1, 1901, Jones worked for Paramount Pictures in the early 1930s, and went on to be the head of the still photography department at Universal Pictures in 1935, where he worked well into the 1950s.

A popular ingénue, particularly in Warner Brothers costume dramas of the late 1930's, Anita Louise began acting at the age of six, made her film debut at nine, and in 1931, at the age of 16, was named a WAMPAS Baby Star. Louise appeared in over 70 films between 1922 and 1952, and continued to make television performances until the early 1970s. Some of her best remembered performances include "A Midsummer Night's Dream" (1935), "Anthony Adverse" (1936), "Marie Antoinette" (1938), and "The Little Princess" (1939).
