Born Martha Lee Estes in Memphis, Tennessee, Snowden moved to Los Angeles around the mid-1950s to work as a model. She made her first big break after appearing on a Jack Benny holiday special, and was signed by Universal shortly thereafter. She is best remembered today for her appearances in "All That Heaven Allows" (1955), "Kiss Me Deadly" (1955), and "The Creature Walks Among Us" (1956).

From the archive of noted Hollywood still photographer Ray Jones. Born in Wisconsin on January 1, 1901, Jones worked for Paramount Pictures in the early 1930s, and went on to be the head of the still photography department at Universal Pictures in 1935, where he worked well into the 1950s.
