From the archive of noted Hollywood still photographer Ray Jones. Born in Wisconsin on January 1, 1901, Jones worked for Paramount Pictures in the early 1930s, and went on to be the head of the still photography department at Universal Pictures in 1935, where he worked well into the 1950s.

Actress and singer Betty Jane Rhodes appeared in two dozen films from 1935 to 1944. She began her career as a ghost singer at RKO pictures before being signed to her first film contract as an actress at Paramount at the age of 15. Rhodes is perhaps best remembered for debut performance of the classic popular song "I Don't Want To Walk Without You," in the 1942 wartime film "Sweater Girl."
