From the archive of noted Hollywood still photographer Ray Jones. Born in Wisconsin on January 1, 1901, Jones worked for Paramount Pictures in the early 1930s, and went on to be the head of the still photography department at Universal Pictures in 1935, where he worked well into the 1950s.

Dancer and actress Margaret O'Rene Ryan, better known by her stage name Peggy Ryan, was best known for starring in a series of musicals for Universal Pictures with Donald O'Connor and Gloria Jean, such as "When Johnny Comes Marching Home" and "Get Hep to Love" (1942), "Mister Big" (1943), and "Follow the Boys" (1944). Ryan appeared in 33 films from 1930 to 1953 and from 1969 through 1976 was a regular on the television series "Hawaii Five-O" as secretary Jenny Sherman.
