From the archive of noted Hollywood still photographer Ray Jones. Born in Wisconsin on January 1, 1901, Jones worked for Paramount Pictures in the early 1930s, and went on to be the head of the still photography department at Universal Pictures in 1935, where he worked well into the 1950s.

Stage and screen actress Betty Field appeared in 22 films from 1939 to 1968, as well as numerous Broadway performances from 1934 to 1971. Among the many noted films Field appeared in includes: "Flesh and Fantasy" (1943), "The Southerner" (1945), "The Great Gatsby" (1949), "Peyton Place" (1957), "Birdman of Alcatraz" (1962), "How to Save a Marriage and Ruin Your Life" (1968), and "Coogan's Bluff" (1968).
