The mimeo snipes each note Crawford's upcoming Universal Pictures films, one for "Modern Love" (1929), here under the working title "You Can't Buy Love," and one for "The Climax" (1930).
From the archive of noted Hollywood still photographer Ray Jones. Born in Wisconsin on January 1, 1901, Jones worked for Paramount Pictures in the early 1930s, and went on to be the head of the still photography department at Universal Pictures in 1935, where he worked well into the 1950s.
Stage and screen actress Kathryn Crawford, also known as Katherine Crawford and Kitty Moran, starred in 18 films from 1928 to 1941 before retiring from acting at the age of 33. She is best remembered for the films "The Kid's Clever" (1929), "Flying High" (1931), and "City of Missing Girls" (1941).
