Born Marta Victoria Moya Peggo Burges in Argentina in 1931, Linda Cristal made her first appearance in Hollywood in the 1956 Western "Comanche." She would go on to appear in a number of films throughout the late 1950s and 1960s, most notably the 1958 comedy "The Perfect Furlough," for which she won a Golden Globe.
From the archive of noted Hollywood still photographer Ray Jones. Born in Wisconsin on January 1, 1901, Jones worked for Paramount Pictures in the early 1930s, and went on to be the head of the still photography department at Universal Pictures in 1935, where he worked well into the 1950s.
