Two vintage double weight borderless publicity photographs of Glenn Tryon by photographer Ray Jones, 1930, with a mimeo snipe, a studio stamp crediting photographer Jones, a "1930" date stamp, and a provenance stamp on the versos. One photograph with an ornamental border of two neatly painted white lines along the top and bottom of the photograph.

From the archive of noted Hollywood still photographer Ray Jones. Born in Wisconsin on January 1, 1901, Jones worked for Paramount Pictures in the early 1930s, and went on to be the head of the still photography department at Universal Pictures in 1935, where he worked well into the 1950s.

Glenn Tryon was a film actor, screenwriter, director, and producer who appeared in more than 60 films between 1923 and 1951. He is best remembered for his performances in "Lonesome" (1928), "The Secret Menance" (1931), and "Hot Heels" (1927).
