From the archive of noted Hollywood still photographer Ray Jones. Born in Wisconsin on January 1, 1901, Jones worked for Paramount Pictures in the early 1930s, and went on to be the head of the still photography department at Universal Pictures in 1935, where he worked well into the 1950s.
Lois Wilson was a silent film star who appeared in over 150 films from 1915 to 1949, as well as directing two films, "The Hypocrite" (1915), which she also starred in, and the short film "Alone in the World," in which she also the story writer. A 1922 WAMPAS Baby Star, Wilson's most notable appearances include "The Covered Wagon" (1923) and "The Great Gatsby" (1926).
