From the archive of noted Hollywood still photographer Ray Jones. Born in Wisconsin on January 1, 1901, Jones worked for Paramount Pictures in the early 1930s, and went on to be the head of the still photography department at Universal Pictures in 1935, where he worked well into the 1950s.

College football star Jack Oakie and piccolo player Lanny Ross both have eyes for Helen Mack, and their rivalry continues after graduation when Oakie gets a job in Ross' dad's department store.

Lanny Ross was a singer, pianist, songwriter, and actor who appeared in eleven films from 1933 to 1943. He was also the winner of the 300 yard sprint at the 1928 USA Indoor Track and Field Championships.
