Ann Blyth worked as a radio actor as a child, later transitioning to Broadway, and signing with Universal in the 1940s. She made her breakthrough performance as Veda Pierce in "Mildred Pierce" (1945), earning her an Academy Award nomination, and continued to act extensively throughout the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s in film and television. She is one of the last surviving Golden Age of Hollywood stars today.

From the archive of noted Hollywood still photographer Ray Jones. Born in Wisconsin on January 1, 1901, Jones worked for Paramount Pictures in the early 1930s, and went on to be the head of the still photography department at Universal Pictures in 1935, where he worked well into the 1950s.
