N.p. N.p., 1977. Rainbow Revision Final Draft script for the 1977 film. Copy belonging to actor Nick Dimitri. Bound in with the script is a Typed Letter Signed, on custom letterhead for the film, addressed to Dimitri from Wilder's secretary Kate Kovacs, dated February 22, 1977. Also bound in with the script are five revision pages.
The script also appears to have been used by actor Sal Viscuso, with his annotations in manuscript ink on pages 80-A and 81.
A parody of 1920s silent film and actors, particularly actor Rudolph Valentino. A studio that rivals Valentino's decides to hire an actor to compete with him, choosing a neurotic baker from Milwaukee.
Shot on location in California.
Tan illustrated titled wrappers. Title page present, dated January 3, 1977, noted as FINAL, with credits for screenwriter Gene Wilder. 141 leaves, with last page of text numbered 126. Mimdographic duplication, rectos only, with blue, pink, green, yellow, and goldenrod revision pages throughout, dated variously between 1/19/77 and 4/20/77. Pages Near Fine, wrapper Very Good plus, bound with two gold brads.
