Universal City: Universal Studios, 1976. Draft script, printed on pink leaves, for the twentieth episode of the second season of the 1974-1980 NBC television series, which aired on February 20, 1976, with a manuscript red ink annotation circling the character "1st Heavy," on the "Cast" page.
The Emmy Award winning series, "The Rockford Files," premiered on March 27, 1974 as a ninety-minute made-for-tv movie, and aired for six seasons and 123 episodes, ending on January 10, 1980.
James Garner stars as the easy going Jim Rockford, a Los Angeles private investigator, who was pardoned after serving five years in San Quentin for a wrongful conviction.
In this episode Jim (James Garner) is asked by an old friend of his father's (Noah Beery Jr.) to find his missing granddaughter (Lane Bradbury) and in the process uncovers a crooked real estate deal.
Shot on location in Los Angeles, and Southern California.
