A British doctor is bitten by a strange animal while traveling in Tibet, and begins transforming into a bloodthirsty werewolf upon his return to London, terrorizing the city's inhabitants at night while desperately searching for a cure in the daytime. Considered by many to be the first feature-length werewolf movie, preceding the better-known "The Wolf Man" by six years.
