A team of scientists create a teleportation device and travel forward in time to the year 2071, where mutated humans are the norm as a result of nuclear war. Basis for the 1966-1967 television series "The Time Tunnel," as well as the 1967 remake "Journey to the Center of Time."

Shot on location in Barstow, California, with some scenes at the University of Southern California's Doheny Library and Mudd Hall.
