Taylor is best remembered today for her appearances in science fiction films in the 1950s, including "Earth vs. the Flying Saucers" (1956) and "20 Million Miles to Earth" (1957). She also worked briefly as a screenwriter in the 1990s, co-writing the 1997 film "Fools Rush In."
