N.p. N.p., Circa 1931. Vintage press photograph of actor, political commentator, and humorist Will Rogers and then-Secretary of War Patrick J. Hurley, who met in October of 1931 for an interview. Printed mimeo snipe (dated October 21, 1931) and annotations in manuscript pencil on the verso.

Rogers interviewed Hurley regarding their shared home state of Oklahoma. Although Rogers usually claimed Claremore as his home state (as evidenced on the snipe), he was actually born on a ranch two miles east of Oologah.
