A major in the US Air Force is asked to join a team working on an experimental Boeing B-47 Stratojet bomber, although the first experiments with human test subjects prove dangerous. Based on a 1955 episode of the "Climax" anthology television series, directed by John Frankenheimer and starring Charlton Heston.
